Corona: 712.5 million euros in November aid have been paid in NRW

Düsseldorf – Now it is still rolling – the “November aid”, for which the companies had to wait so long because of software problems at the federal government. BILD has the latest figures from the NRW Ministry of Economics.

Accordingly, the district governments have approved 51,733 applications since January 15, which (as of Tuesday) corresponds to 85 percent. A total of 712.5 million aid euros were paid out. Cases that are left now have to be checked very carefully and, according to the ministry, still require follow-up or clarification.

Advance payments were made in 97 percent of the cases, 83 percent of the applications were approved for the self-employed.

On January 3rd, Economics Minister Andreas Pinkwart (60, FDP) had promised in BILD that “the majority” of the November aid would be paid out by the end of last week, with a few exceptions that would have to be examined more intensively.

The December aid is also slowly rolling in: According to the NRW Ministry of Economic Affairs, the district governments have so far approved 28,709 applications (53 percent) and paid out 490 million euros via the federal interface. 98 percent of the installments were paid out, while 88 percent of the applications for the solo self-employed were approved for December and paid in full.
