The Yasmin Stieler case in the BILD podcast: Killer, get in touch!

26 years ago, Rosemarie Schäfer lost her daughter in a terrible way: 18-year-old Yasmin was murdered and dismembered.

On October 5, 1996, Yasmin Stieler took the train from Uelzen to Braunschweig to the “Atlantis” disco. She disappears without a trace. Nine days later, a mushroom picker found a blue garbage bag on a railway embankment near Peine. Inside: the torso of the missing girl.

More horrific finds turn up: her sawed-off legs in the Ricklinger Kiesteich, her head in a wooded area near Hämelerwald. Only her arms and hands remain missing.

Today Rosemarie Schäfer says: “Dear murderer, if you can reconcile it with your conscience, please get in touch. I won’t rest!”
