Brunsbüttel (Schleswig-Holstein) – Fatal act of violence on the Kiel Canal!
In a dispute between two men, a 25-year-old man in Brunsbüttel (Dithmarschen district) was stabbed to death by a 29-year-old friend on Sunday afternoon.
The 29-year-old was then seen around 4 p.m. jumping into the water from a canal ferry in Brunsbüttel, the police announced on Monday. He could be saved.
Because the man had severe cuts on his arms and hands, he was taken to a hospital. Here he told a nurse that he had stabbed an acquaintance with the knife.
The investigators found the 25-year-old’s body at around 7 p.m. in an apartment on Schulstrasse. According to initial findings, there had been a fierce battle between the two Iranians, as a result of which the younger man died from his injuries.
The Itzeho homicide commission has started the investigation. The motive for the act was initially unclear.
