Ski hero Thomas Dreßen threatens to end the season due to hip surgery!

Our Kitz hero is trembling about the new ski season!

According to BILD information, downhill skier Thomas Dreßen (27), who won the legendary Streif in Kitzbühel in 2018, will have his hip operated on Thursday in Munich. Only during the operation can it be determined how serious the injury is and how long it will be out. It is said to be a bone fragment.

Dreßen therefore had to leave the secret training camp in the USA prematurely. He had actually planned the start of the season on December 12th in Val d’Isere (France). But the date is now shaking like his entire season planning.

Unfortunately, our best skier knows about injuries. In December 2018, his right knee suffered a total loss with a ruptured cruciate ligament at the World Cup in Beaver Creek (USA). The shoulder also had to be operated on.

But Dreßen came back strong. In his 2019/20 comeback season, he won three races. With a total of five downhill victories, Dreßen is already the record holder. After his third win of the season, he said: “At the moment it’s just going well. I’ve found my looseness again. “

Hopefully she will come back quickly after this operation.
