Wolgast (Mecklenburg-West Pomerania) – She was dragged into a bush and abused there. Three months after the rape of a young woman (18) in Wolgast, the public prosecutor’s office has brought charges against an Iranian (34).
After the incident on Saturday around 11 p.m., the woman contacted approaching witnesses who then got medical help. The woman was taken to a hospital. The suspect was arrested three days later in Wolgast without resistance.
The alleged perpetrator is said to have approached the young woman on the evening of December 18 near a supermarket in Wolgast on federal highway 111, suddenly dragged her into a bush and sexually abused her there. He then fled, according to police.
The investigators got on the trail of the suspect through a precise description of the perpetrator by the victim, the analysis of clues and video recordings of a nearby gas station. The accused has so far denied the allegations.
