Corona now makes everything even more difficult! In order to be able to visit his wife at the facility, Alwin Siegel has to present a negative corona test result every three days. The former building materials dealer: “A quick test would always cost me around 50 euros. I can not afford that. That’s why I get tested for free in the test center. But the result takes a long time. “
The problem: the test is often already invalid when the result is there! Alwin Siegel: “The test must not be older than 72 hours. We even had to spend our 50th wedding anniversary separately! “
But: If the Bavarian government has its way, the Siegels will be together for Christmas! Relatives of residents should get free rapid tests. Result: in 15 minutes. Health Secretary Klaus Holetschek: “No resident has to celebrate alone.”
Alwin Siegel is now confident that he and his wife can celebrate Christmas together.
