Responsible investment, how to use it

Socially responsible investment (SRI) is progress. This label, created by the government in 2016, is based on precise specifications, dictated by a high requirement for transparency. It allows us to orient our savings according to three criteria: environment, social and governance (ESG). Its granting is decided by independent organizations for a renewable period of three years. The labeled funds are controlled.

Other labels make it possible to ensure the validity of managers’ commitments: in particular FNG, Greenfin, Finansol, LuxFlag, Towards Sustainability. Note that most responsible funds specialize in themes related to sustainable development: climate change, water, real estate, fair trade, agriculture and nutrition. More traditional funds can also claim labels by keeping their initial investment universe, provided, of course, that they integrate ESG criteria.
