OnePlus Nord OxygenOS 12 Update: OnePlus Nord is well on its way to becoming a brand for the company with back-to-back launches, but it all started with the original phone in the series, the OnePlus Nord. If you are a OnePlus Nord user, then you will be happy to know that the company has now started rolling out the stable build of Android 12 after some time of beta testing. OnePlus Nord is now receiving stable OxygenOS 12, which includes new features like new visual design, enhanced dark mode and OnePlus Shelf.
In April, OnePlus started the Open Beta 2 test for OnePlus Nord in India. This was the last leg of the test, so the stable version was imminent. However, OnePlus took some time to give the final touches to the stable build for Nord users in India. OnePlus said that the new OxygenOS 12 for OnePlus Nord is being released only for users in India. It added that since the rollout process in the EU requires additional validation steps, OxygenOS 12 will be released “as soon as possible” for Nord users in that region.
OxygenOS 12 is available for both those who are on Android 11 and those who are using the beta version. Stable version means that the bugs that were spotted in the previous beta version have been fixed. OnePlus has also listed some of them, such as the phone’s inability to invoke Google Assistant when it says “Ok, Google”. This is a stable version, so you are not likely to face any problem with it.
