Mistakes when cleaning the body

Do not use cotton swabs or sharp objects to get into your ears

The ears are self-cleaning and require no extra care. You use cotton swabs to remove the loss of cerument, commonly known as earwax. But this substance is produced by the body to protect and lubricate the ear. Without wax, the ears would be itchy and dry.

Earwax is like a filter, helping you to remove harmful things like dirt and keep them from getting deep inside. As you chew, jaw movements help move old earwax out of the ear canal to the ear canal. Then it will dry and fall out.

Earwax does not form in the deep part of the ear canal, it is located on the outside. So if you clean your ears with a cotton swab or something like that, it will push the wax deep inside.
