According to BILD information, the Munich Public Prosecutor’s Office has now taken over the investigation in cooperation with the Bavarian State Criminal Police Office.

“He has not yet got into the matter. The fact is currently inexplicable, it will have to be clarified what the motive is. He’s so stable after shooting through the thigh, ”said the defender.

The Somali stabbed people he did not know for no reason in downtown Würzburg on Friday afternoon. Three died and five were seriously injured. There were also at least two slightly injured people. So far it is unclear whether the previously mentally suspicious man acted for Islamist motives or was confused during the bloody act.
