Kaufbeuren im Allgäu: Mask refuser attacks police officers | Regional

Kaufbeuren – Because a man did not wear a mask, there was a dispute between the police and bar visitors in Kaufbeuren.

Pepper spray was used, as a police spokesman announced. In the city center, the officials became aware of a bar on Friday evening. A man (30) walked through a pub without a mask. According to the authorities, the man reacted aggressively when asked to identify himself.

In front of the bar, around 20 bar visitors would have shown solidarity with the man. They filmed and insulted the police. When the identities of the people were recorded, the officers pronounced dismissals.

Five police officers were slightly injured as a result of the operation. Police said two women fainted. The ambulance service treated them on site. Two other people also suffered minor injuries from the pepper spray.

The bar visitors involved are now expecting various reports of insulting officials and violating the Infection Protection Ordinance.
