Karsten Manczak has been missing for 15 days: the trail leads to Hanover

Goslar – It started out as a normal missing person case. But now the police assume a crime!

Karsten Manczak (51) from Liebenburg (Groß Döhren) has been missing since April 13th. The police determined that Manczak left his house around 5 a.m.

A police spokesman: “Due to the traces that have been secured at his home address and have now been evaluated, an incident in the garden area of ​​the property in which Mr. Manczak was injured may have occurred immediately afterwards.”

It is still unclear what happened at dawn. But the police believe that Manczak was attacked.

The SoKo “Fortuna” meanwhile found the missing person’s vehicle, which also disappeared. The blue VW Caddy (GS-KK 31) was found three days later at the Hanover exhibition center, opposite the Dutch pavilion, on the EU boulevard. Properly parked and locked .

The vehicle is currently being examined for traces at the State Criminal Police Office. The investigation group “Fortuna” founded for the case asks:

  • Who saw the vehicle between April 13th and 16th, can perhaps provide information about the driver?
  • Who saw the missing person after his disappearance on April 13th or maybe knows anything about disputes or problems in the Manczak area?

Karsten Manczak is 1.78 meters tall, slim, wearing glasses, has short gray hair with a balding head.
