Gadgets Cooling Tips: Not just you, your gadgets too need a little care in the scorching sun of this season. Here are 5 tips to keep your smartphone, laptop and other gadgets safe during the summer season.
Direct sunlight is a big no
You should keep the gadgets away from direct sunlight as prolonged exposure can lead to overheating and even damage to the internal components.
Breathing space outside your pockets
Don’t always carry your smartphone in your pocket, especially if you find yourself in a hot and humid place most of the time. Take out your smartphone and keep it on your desk at the office or at home.
Don’t charge outdoors
You should avoid charging your gadgets outside. Charging any gadget raises its temperature slightly and if it is being used outside, the heat can increase the temperature and cause the device to overheat.
No ‘parking’ inside the car
If you think it is a good idea to leave your phone inside the car, let us tell you that it is not. Your car easily turns into a greenhouse in the summer, especially if it is parked outside. Leaving the gadget inside can cause overheating. So, if your situation allows it, do not keep gadgets in the car.
Don’t charge under a pillow or cushion
Do not charge your gadgets by placing them under pillows, cushions, blankets, etc., as they will block the heat from the device and thus cause it to overheat.
