How many Olympic slots have Vietnamese sports had, when will they go to Japan?

Vietnamese sports are rushing to complete the Tokyo Olympics. The departure time for Japan has also been set.

Good news for Vietnamese sports when on June 23, the World Athletics Federation (IAAF) entered the name of athlete Quach Thi Lan on the list to participate in the 400m hurdles with a special place.

Thus, up to this point, Vietnamese sports have won 15 places to attend the Tokyo Olympics 2020, including: Le Thanh Tung, Dinh Phuong Thanh (gymnastics), Nguyen Huy Hoang (swimming), Thach Kim Tuan, Hoang Thi Duyen, Vuong Thi Huyen (weightlifting), Nguyen Tien Minh, Nguyen Thuy Linh (badminton), Truong Thi Kim Tuyen (Taekwondo), Do Thi Anh Nguyet, Nguyen Hoang Phi Vu (archery), Nguyen Van Duong ( boxing), Luong Thi Thao/Dinh Thi Hao (Rowing) and an invitation to participate in shooting.

Tran Duc Phan, Deputy Director General in charge of the General Department of Physical Education and Sports, Head of the Vietnam Sports Delegation at the upcoming Olympic Games, said that the time for the delegation to go to Japan is on July 18. It is expected that the number of members of the TTVN delegation will be about 38 people.

Before participating in the Olympic Games, athletes and members of the Vietnamese delegation will have to strictly comply with regulations on prevention of the Covid-19 epidemic.
