Tokyo – Panic, fire and the injured! In Japan’s capital, there was a bloody attack in the subway on Sunday evening (local time).
A stranger (according to the police in his mid-twenties) attacked passengers with a knife in a compartment on the Keio line in Tokyo. After injuring more than ten people with the knife, he is said to have spread a liquid and started a fire.
According to Japanese media, the perpetrator was arrested at the scene.

One of the victims, according to witness statements, was passed out when the police arrived. The act took place on Sunday evening near the Kokuryo station in the west of the metropolis.
It is still unclear what motive the perpetrator led to the knife attack and what liquid he distributed in the train. According to Japanese media, it is being checked whether it is hydrochloric acid.

It was only in August of this year, one day before the end of the Olympic Games, that a 36-year-old attacked 10 people on a commuter train with a knife.
The man later testified to the police that he wanted to attack women who looked happy.
