Bayreuth – The alleged murderer of the popular doctor couple from Mistelbach near Bayreuth (Upper Franconia) is behind bars – but the case still raises many questions.
The couple’s daughter’s friend, Felix S. (18), confessed to the judge on Monday, according to BILD information, and is now in custody – on suspicion of murder.
Did he single-handedly kill the parents of his girlfriend, who was two years his junior and who took him in like their own son? Or is there more to this terrible crime?

Because: As BILD now learned, the couple’s oldest daughter (16) fled with Felix (18) from the crime scene in Mistelbach. They are said to have tried to start their parents’ car in the garage together – but it failed.
How they got away from the crime scene, why they left their siblings with the corpses of their parents and whether they were privy to Felix S.’s crime plan is still unclear.
The fact: On the night from Saturday to Sunday, shortly after midnight, neighbors heard from Dr. Stefan S. († 51) and his wife Antje († 47) cries for help. The neighbors immediately called the police. The officers found the couple dead in the basement, both with stab wounds.
So far, the police had announced that when the emergency services arrived, the couple’s four children (5 to 16) were also in the house. It is unclear whether the teenager stayed at home after the failed escape attempt or returned later.
The senior public prosecutor Martin Dippold on BILD: “We are currently not making any further statements beyond the previous information. We are only at the beginning of the investigation. I can neither deny nor confirm your information. ”The police did not want to provide any information for“ tactical reasons ”.
