This weekend, tens of thousands of people around the world took to the streets against the war as Putin reduced Ukraine to rubble.
The protest is life-threatening for some – especially in Russia and Ukraine itself!

► 2,000 courageous residents of the city of Cherson (290,000 inhabitants), which had been occupied by Putin’s troops, confronted the soldiers unarmed and sang the Ukrainian anthem. Russian soldiers fired tear gas. Five people were injured.
► After a call by the imprisoned Kremlin critic Alexej Navalny (45), thousands took to the streets in Moscow and St. Petersburg. And this despite the fact that a new law threatens demonstrators with imprisonment or forced conscription for the army. According to official figures, more than 3,500 demonstrators were arrested across Russia.
