The infected were isolated and placed in a quarantine area of ​​the ship. “In order to avoid additional contacts, we will separate the guests of the current and the upcoming voyage from one another on board the Mein Schiff 4. Accordingly, we unfortunately have to say goodbye to around 300 guests who are currently on board and who have also booked the upcoming trip. The people who tested positive have already disembarked or will disembark tomorrow in Las Palmas / Gran Canaria and move into quarantine accommodation on land, where they will continue to be looked after. ”

“Mein Schiff 4” is now on its way to Las Palmas (Gran Canaria), where the passengers who had to disembark on an unscheduled basis are then brought home by plane. “Mein Schiff 4’s voyage ends on schedule in Las Palmas / Gran Canaria. There are around 1,600 guests and 800 crew members on board. The return trip of the guests on the trip, which ends on December 19, will take place as planned. For all transit guests who unfortunately have to leave, TUI Cruises organizes the return flights, ”says the company.

The good news: According to TUI, all corona infected people are doing well. You would either have no symptoms or only mild symptoms.

From the end of February 2022, adults will be required to be vaccinated on the ship.
