The police are now looking for witnesses who have made observations or who could have seen the perpetrator.
According to the police, the girl wanted to take the train from Berka in the direction of Kranichfeld to a friend’s house on Monday around 4 p.m. Already on the platform she noticed a group of conspicuously aggressive young men.
“When the young girl was sitting on the train, an unknown man from the group also stepped in. During the train journey, the girl was the victim of a serious crime, ”the police said.
The incident is said to have lasted the entire journey from Berka train station to Kranichfeld and back over a period of more than 40 minutes.
