Nuremberg – Batman keeps the fire department in suspense!
During an operation in Nuremberg, the emergency services released a bat on Thursday that had got lost behind a television. They then took the uninjured flutterman to a veterinary clinic for control.
The fire brigade posted photos and videos of the rescue operation on Twitter and collected suggestions for names from their users: In addition to the inevitable Batman and Batgirl, Bruce, Hubert and Helga were among the answers.
On the occasion of the European Emergency Call Day, the Nuremberg fire brigade has been participating in the “Twitter storm” of the German professional fire brigades since Thursday morning.
The Twitter channel is used to tweet almost in real time about operations and the daily operations of the emergency services at the fire stations and in the integrated control center.
