At least seven people were killed in an explosion in a building in Bangladesh on Sunday. 50 more were injured, according to the police and fire brigade, when the three-story house in the center of the capital Dhaka was shaken by the violent explosion. The police suspect a gas leak as the cause of the accident.
The explosion was so strong that the window panes of at least four passing buses shattered. Dozens of passengers were injured.
The building, which housed a restaurant, electronics store, and several other stores, was completely destroyed, according to eyewitnesses. According to the police, two adjacent buildings were also partially damaged.
