At the “All you can eat” buffet – American eats 32 sushi rolls – hospital!

Danielle Shapiro (24) wanted to have a really good time with a friend. So the two Americans went to a sushi restaurant in Mountain View (California).

Eat as much as you can for 50 dollars – “All you can eat”. But the sushi orgy ended for the 24-year-old in the hospital. She reports about it on TikTok.

Her ten-second clip has already been viewed more than eleven million times. The video shows the young woman in the hospital bed. The comment: “You may be wondering how I ended up here…” The answer comes immediately: A camera pans over colorful sushi rolls, with Danielle Shapiro happily pushing in chopsticks by chopsticks.

All in all 32 sushi rolls: eight each of “Green Dragon Roll”, “Snow Roll”, “California Roll” and “Wakame Roll”. Madness: The apparently starving woman also ate miso soup, four gyozas (dumplings), stuffed jalapenos and a portion of edamame (soybeans).

Danielle Shapiro says: “After dinner we were so full that we had to sit in my car for 30 minutes before we drove home.” Her stomach was rock hard from all the fish and rice.

The 24-year-old stayed at her boyfriend’s house, which is where the “worst stomach ache” began. The next morning – the American even had breathing problems – she drove to the hospital. Diagnosis: acid reflux, better known as heartburn. Doctors gave the pickepacke-full patient a remedy, but it still took several days for Shapiro’s body to fully recover from the calorie rush.

Sushi rolls remain the favorite dish of the intrepid knight of chopsticks. She says: “I will definitely eat sushi again! This experience didn’t ruin sushi for me. I’ve learned that next time I have to listen to my body and take things slower.”
