Hamburg – Once again shameful scenes of hatred of Jews on German streets – under the eyes of state power!
There are anti-Semitic excesses that we have seen again and again in German cities since Hamas terrorists bombed Israel’s civilian population for many days and Israel defended itself. Mostly young Muslims take to the streets in Germany and demand the annihilation of Israel and the expulsion of the Jews from the Middle East.
Latest crime scene: Hamburg. Numerous Muslims gathered there on Friday for a demonstration of hatred in the St. Georg district, not far from the main train station. Registered was a pro-Palestinian demonstration. Just a cover, actually!
The police report reads soberly: Around 200 demonstrators protested peacefully on the Steindamm against Germany and Israel. It was chanted mainly in German, but also in Arabic. There were no criminal charges. According to their own information, the police were on site with “a good 30 officers”.
But it wasn’t as harmless as the police make it out to be!
Kurdish politician Ali Ertan Toprak’s Twitter video shows what really happened. Coffins had been placed in the street. The demonstrators chant: “Israel – child murderer”. Again and again a man gives the slogan with a megaphone, the rest yells after it: “Get out of Aksa, that forever” and “From the Ummah, for the Ummah!”
Aksa means the al-Aqsa mosque in Jeruslam. Umma here stands for the supposed predominance of Muslims in the Middle East. The battle cry therefore means the expulsion of the Jews from Israel – and the annihilation of the State of Israel.
The state chairman of the Hamburg CDU Christoph Ploß and Toprak made a joint statement:
“We are stunned and appalled by this Islamist and deeply anti-Semitic and anti-Israel march on Hamburg’s streets. There has to be a clear answer to this: there is no place in Hamburg for Islamists, constitutional enemies and anti-Semites. The militia-like, martial demeanor that is supposed to intimidate and frighten you is alarming. We must never allow anti-Semites and enemies of Israel to abuse our civil liberties for their repulsive purposes. Jewish life is inextricably linked with our city. It belongs visibly and safely in the center of our city. “
The openly shown hatred of Jews is an attack on everyone. And further: “If anti-Semites want to spread fear and terror, a strong response from the rule of law is required. Words and statements alone are not enough. “
On Saturday afternoon, the police announced that they would evaluate the Twitter video for possible criminal offenses.
Who is behind the march?
▶ ︎ According to BILD information, the Islamist group Hizb ut-Tahrir is behind the demonstration. The organization campaigned for the “liberation” of Muslims from supposed oppression and sought the establishment of a worldwide caliphate. For reasons of “self-defense”, “Hizb ut-Tahrir” also approves of violence.
Since January 10, 2003, the organization is no longer allowed to operate publicly in Germany. The then Federal Minister of the Interior Otto Schily (SPD) issued a prohibition order.
Nevertheless, “Hizb ut-Tahrir”, so the report says, continues the recruiting work underground. In social networks, the initiatives “Reality Islam” and “Generation Islam” should ideologically belong.
